The Hollywood Reporter announced today that Jennifer Love Hewitt will star in writer-director Ryan Murphys film WHY CANT I BE AUDREY HEPBURN? (See my review of the script here Click here)
The story concerns a woman who is left at the altar and falls for her hubbys best friend (who she previously hated). Audrey may have been in the title, but, as youll see in my review, her awesome talent doesnt shine through to the material.
You may or may not remember that Jennifer Love Hewitt starred in a movie-of-the-week about Hepburns life. I completely understand Hewitts obsession with Hepburn -- I know it because I have the same affliction -- but clearly shes being suckered into this because shell have the opportunity to act out scenes from BREAKFAST AT TIFFANYS. The romantic-comedy portion of the script being as weak as it is, Jennifer needs to get into better projects -- so people stop talking about her delectable assets and start talking about her acting.
