ONE TRUE THING director Carl Franklin is in negotiations to shoot the noir thriller OUT OF TIME.
The story revolves around a small-town police officer who is involved in an affair with a woman whom he falls in love with, and steals money from the evidence room to run away with her. When she double crosses him, he discovers she set up the affair as a selfish ruse and vows to seek revenge.
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer acquired the spec from Dave Collard (FAMILY GUY) last fall in a deal worth mid-six figures.
