Script Report: THE BURIAL

QUILLS scribe Doug Wright has found a home for his legal drama about race relations in the deep South called THE BURIAL. Warner Bros. picked up the project for an undisclosed amount. The studio has the film on a fast track and the script is out to directors and cast.
It is based on the true story of Willie Gary, a successful African/American who is a personal-injury lawyer from Mississippi. One day he is asked to take on a high-profile case, and that's when things start to happen.
