Script Report: ESCAPE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN

Adam Kulakow has been hired by The Walt Disney Co. to adapt and update ESCAPE TO WITCH MOUNTAIN -- the 1975 Disney picture based on the book by Alexander Key. Reportedly Kulakow will snag a mid-six-figure payday if the project makes it to the big screen. The original film was helmed by John Hough and starred Eddie Albert and Ray Milland. The story dealt with an orphan brother and sister who are psychic.
Kulakow previously sold AGENT JOE to Fox 2000 and ASHES TO ASHES to Disney-based Spyglass.
