Screenwriter Gets into Barroom Brawl...YEAH!
April 14th, 2001
DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE actors Steve Buscemi and Vince Vaughn, screenwriter Scott Rosenberg (GONE IN 60 SECONDS), got into a barroom brawl with a group of Wilmington, N.C. folks that left Buscemi bloody, and Vaughn and Rosenberg in the slammer. Vaughn and Rosenberg were charged with misdemeanor assault. I don't know about you, but I'm proud of screenwriter Scott Rosenberg, anything to change the sterotype that writers are whimps. God knows he's done a lot on the puntang front.
According to reports, Buscemi was stabbed in the throat, head and arm in the fight at the Firebelly Lounge around 2 a.m. Thursday morning. He is apparently okay, and was flown to New York to recover.
