Script Report: THE GOOD GERMAN

Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney's Warner Bros.-based Section Eight have secured the film rights on Joseph Kanon's upcoming novel "The Good German," to be published by Henry Holt later this year. Clooney is reportedly interested in starring.
Set in post-World War II Berlin, the story is a romantic thriller about a journalist who returns to search for a lost love and finds himself drawn into a murder mystery.
