Scribe Claims NOTTING HILL Was His Idea...

Screenwriter Nick Villiers has sued producer Eric Fellner, Universal Pictures and several others for $15 million, claiming they stole his idea for the 1999 hit film NOTTING HILL.
According to Variety, the claim was filed last month in L.A. Superior Court. Villiers, whose screenplay credits include Fox Searchlight's 1997 picture BLOOD AND WINE, was a longtime business and personal friend of Fellner.
