Los Angeles Film Critics Pick CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON As Best Picture

Ang Lee's gravity-resistant martial arts extravaganza CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON took home the top prize at the Los Angeles Film Critics Assn. over the weekend. The martial arts flick also took three more prizes. Here's how the major awards went down:

Runner-up: WONDER BOYS

Best Director: Steven Soderbergh, ERIN BROKOVICH and TRAFFIC
Runner-up: Ang Lee, CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON

Best Screenplay: Kenneth Lonnergan, YOU CAN COUNT ON ME
Runner-up: Steven Kloves, WONDER BOYS

Best Actor: Michael Douglas, WONDER BOYS
Runner-up: Javier Bardem, WHEN NIGHT FALLS

Best Actress: Julia Roberts, ERIN BROKOVICH
