Script Report: RESIDENT EVIL

RESIDENT EVIL, rumored to have a budget close to $40 million, will be directed by Paul Anderson (EVENT HORIZON) from his own script. Production is reportedly ready to start in February in Berlin.
The film will not follow the video game, but will instead tell the story of a special military unit whose mission is the destruction of a super-computer that is out-of-control. According to the Hollywood Reporter Milla Jovovich (FIFTH ELEMENT) has agreed to play Alice the Zombie Killer.
