Script Report: MEN IN BLACK 2

And they're off! Big budget extravaganza's like THE MATRIX and MEN IN BLACK 2 are going ahead with production despite the prospect of a Screen Actors Guild strike starting June 30, and a possible Writers Guild strike.
Columbia Pictures and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment are planning to start production on MEN IN BLACK 2 on June 4. The plan is to get Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, and director Barry Sonnenfeld shooting for as many days as possible before a possible shutdown.
Robert Gordon's (GALAXY QUEST, ADDICTED TO LOVE) script is rumored to be completed and in a rewrite phase. Look for this to be a short phase, as time is now an issue.
