Update: Arnold Schwarzenegger Talks T3
November 16th, 2000
While talking with the New York Post Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed a few tidbits about the script, which has already been reviewed online. But recently Arnold requested a re-write, "The two drafts I read were so big that it would have cost $300 million to make it," says the actor. "So now they're toning it down, because I don't think we need to see a 747 crash-land into all those buildings in downtown L.A. I think we can do it on a football field somewhere so that it doesn't cost that much."
Much has been made on the Web about T3's foe, a female terminator? "She can disappear, she can mold into someone else, and she is sometimes just an energy," declared Arnold. Though I'm still not sold on a female terminator doing battle with the man himself, the jury is still out, we'll have to see how it comes out.
Tomorrow the 53-year-old's most recent film, THE SIXTH DAY opens nation wide.
