Script Report: CONAN THE BARBARIAN

Warner Bros. has picked up the rights to CONAN THE BARBARIAN, and now reportedly plans to do another feature to be written and directed by John Milius. The original 1982 film starred Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The Wachowskis brothers have been longtime fans of CONAN THE BARBARIAN films, and it's been reported that they were interested in getting the franchise back on the big screen. Now Variety is reporting that the duo will juggle their schedules (they are in the middle of pre-production with the THE MATRIX sequels) and will co-create the concept with John Milius and are eyeing directing the second unit on the film. Milius wrote the original with Oliver Stone. It is also rumored that Arnold Schwarzenegger will come back in some capacity.
