Script Report: ECKS VS. SEVER

One of the most uninspired titles for an upcoming film has to be ECKS VS. SEVER, which will mark the English-language debut of Thai director Kaos. Last year his action film FHA became one of the highest-grossing films in Thai history and won virtually every award. It has also been reported that Antonio Banderas is in final negotiations to star in the action movie.
In a script penned by Alan McElroy (RAPID FIRE, SPAWN), Ecks (Banderas), is a covert operative who must face mortal combat against his nemesis, Sever. The two agents stalk and hunt each other nearly to death before realizing they must unite against a common enemy.
The picture is being produced by Franchise Pictures (BATTLEFIELD EARTH), not a good sign, and will be distributed domestically by Warner Bros.
