Script Report: THE FIRES

Screenwriter Matt Hoge, an up and comer, has been hired to adapt the Rene Steinke novel THE FIRES. The project is being produced by Madonna and Handprint Ent. Hoge's spec script UNTITLED STATES OF LELAND that deals with a young boy who murders an autistic neighbor was enough to get him the job.
THE FIRES tells the story of a young woman, disfigured in a fire, who becomes a compulsive arsonist.
