Tarantino Talks About His New Projects And More...
September 15th, 2000
The NY Times has a great interview with Tarantino in today's edition, you can read the interview on line for a few days until it drops into their archive.
According the interview, Taratino has spent the last year and a half "gorging on film history and B-grade filmmakers." In between time he has been writing two screenplays, and he intends on shooting them back-to-back.
While reading the piece I almost got the feeling that Tarantino has been on a sabbatical of sorts, exploring the world of films and searching for a truer meaning to the art of 'filmmaking.'
As we've already reported, Uma Thurman is going to be in one of the films, which Tarantino confirms. It is described as a "tasty little noirish thriller."
Tarantino went on to say, "My fans are gonna love this one. They've been waiting a long time, and I think they're really going to happy with it." He also revealed that the much rumored World War II project is happening and that he has been polishing the screenplay.
That's all for now folks!
