Script Report: SOLARIS

Director Steven Soderbergh (SEX, LIES & VIDEOTAPE) really seems to like remakes these days. According to the Hollywood Reporter he is now negotiating to write the remake of the 1972 Russian science fiction film, SOLARIS -- James Cameron will produce the film under his Lightstorm production banner for 20th Century Fox. Soderbergh is currently wrapping his OCEAN'S ELEVEN remake.
SOLARIS tells the story of a psychologist who travels to a space station situated over the Solaris Ocean only to find its commander dead.
