There's an interesting story in today's Variety about scribe David Schickler. Who actually started out writing all kinds of fiction.
As a Rochester, N.Y. teacher Schickler has sold a book, a series of stories, and he his taking home some series cash.
Scott Rudin Productions optioned, last month, Schickler's THE SMOKER. From the same collection of stories, KISSING IN MANHATTAN, enters Robert Redford's Wildwood Enterprises, who just recently optioned four more stories.
All in all, writer David Schickler is on a serious roll.
