Script Report: STAR TREK 10

We reported on July 3rd that John Logan was rumored to be the next writer, and I totally endorsed it. It's a great choice on their part.
Now its being reported that John Logan will indeed be the screenwriter for STAR TREK 10. Reps from Paramount have apparently made it official. (The official STAR TREK site has confirmed as well.)
The only thing that has to be worked out is a strong story. Lets face it, the last couple TREK movies were duds. They need more action, more suspense, a real bad-ass villain and c'mon people... how about a little more blood and guts?
Ah anyway, Logan is a great choice and I'm actually jazzed about what STAR TREK 10 could be.
