Script Report: Ray Bradbury's A SOUND OF THUNDER

Director Peter Hyams (THE MUSKETEER, END OF DAYS, THE RELIC, TIMECOP) is in negotiationsto join Pierce Brosnan in a big-screen adaptation of Ray Bradbury's time-travel short story "A Sound of Thunder" for Franchise Pictures. Project expected to go before the cameras next year.
Adapted by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer, THUNDER is about a game hunter who goes on a time-traveling safari to hunt dinosaurs in the prehistoric era. When confronted by a tyrannosaurus, he loses his nerve, stumbles off the appointed path and inadvertently changes history.
