Script Update: AMERICAN PIE 2

Scribe Adam Herz (penned the original) script for AMERICAN PIE the sequel is targeted for a February start date for filming. According to reports Universal has hired J.B. Rogers to direct it. The studio has just started negotiations to bring back a cast that includes Jason Biggs, Chris Klein, Tara Reid, Shannon Elizabeth, Mena Suvari and Eugene Levy. Chris and Paul Weitz (original directors), will produce the sequel with Chris Moore and Warren Zide.
